About

I am a Graphic Design Student based in Kingston Upon Thames who thrives from interactive art within my design practice. Currently I am actively attending workshops in Adobe After Effects, as well as teaching myself Blender, transporting into a world that blends digital and physical to support my innovative ideas.

Adobe Suit Masterclass

During my first year at Kingston University, I took up the opportunity to teach a series of workshops to games development students at Fareham College. Sharing some of the work I produced during my first term at university, as well as techniques involved in creating a process book that can be presented at an industry level for future employers. Not only had it allowed me to build and challenge my skills within Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop but it was great to see the response of the students and how they've been able to develop their work.

Exhibition Work

Throughout my studies, I have exhibited work at numerous sixth form open events and local English heritage sites. This included a social interactive installation that combined sculpture, print and projection. Working with the Art and Design department at my previous sixth form, I have gained experience in how the construction of design work can support a collection of material, as well as the key aspects of organisation and how that can impact the communication between design and viewer. Playing on the theme of social interaction, exploring how immersive environments can be emphasised through layers of digital and physical media.

During my A Level studies, I was invited by a local English Heritage site to display one of my installation pieces in their building. My contemporary approach with digital manipulation and projection consisted of digital layering, casted over printed fabric with stitched embroidery. The design celebrated the ephemera of flowers that live for a short amount of time, while the collection as a whole unified the collaboration of designers with historic architecture.
